Moscow Exchange to launch trade in 25–30 S&P500 shares till Sep

MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Exchange will launch ruble trade in 25–30 most liquid shares of the U.S. S&P500 index in the summer, and will increase the list to 50 shares by the end of 2020, Director of the bourse’s stock market department Boris Blokhin said on Tuesday.

“We plan to implement the first stage, access to trade in shares of foreign issuers, at the end of the summer. Until the end of the year, we will grant access to trade to 50 most liquid securities of foreign issuers. These will be most demanded shares, shares of U.S. companies included into the S&P500 index,” he said.
